We are delighted to announce that our new WordPress auto-installer is now available.
WordPress is the world most popular open source blogging software. Whilst Wordpress was originally designed to make it easy to setup a blog it has become much more and is now really a full content management system (CMS) capable of running simple blog/personal websites to a full corporate presence.
Wordpress makes it easy to maintain and update your website via it's powerful editing capabilities, free themes/templates and a wide range of plugins to expand features.
Many customers are already running Wordpress on their Qbic hosting packages but now we are making it even easier to get started. If you have a Basic package or greater (all packages except our Starter package) you will have this new option available to you.
To install WordPress simply follow the instructions below*:-
- Log in to http://www.qbic.co.uk/members.
- Select "Hosting"
- Select "Hosted Domains"
- Click on the domain name you wish to install WordPress on to.
- Select "Application Packs"
- Click on WorldPress.
- Follow the instructions
